Mauretania, uncertain mint Æ17. Pseudo-autonomous issue, time of Augustus(?), 27 BC - AD 14. V•A[•III R] IIII• around six-pointed star / Male head left. RPC I, 871; SNG Copenhagen 757; MAA 187 (Banasa[?]). 5.25g, 17mm.

Near Very Fine. Extremely Rare.

These coins have been found in Western Mauretania at Volubilis, Banasa and Thamusida, therefore their attribution is difficult.
